GoHighLevel SaaS Mode lets agencies sell access to their white-labeled GoHighLevel platform as a software subscription — creating recurring SaaS revenue without building software from scratch. Here is how to set it up and price it profitably.
Requirements
SaaS Mode requires the Agency Pro plan at $497 per month and a connected Stripe account for payment processing. White-label domain setup (covered in the white-label guide) should be completed before configuring SaaS Mode, so clients access your platform at your branded domain rather than GoHighLevel's.
Step 1: Enable SaaS Mode and Connect Stripe
Go to Settings > SaaS Configuration. Click Enable SaaS Mode. Connect your Stripe account by clicking the Stripe integration button and completing the OAuth authorization. GoHighLevel uses Stripe to collect subscription payments from your clients and deposit them to your Stripe account after taking the platform fee.
Step 2: Create Your Pricing Plans
In SaaS Configuration > Plans, create your subscription tiers. Most agencies start with 2 to 3 plans. A common structure: Starter at $97 per month (basic CRM, limited automations, 1 user), Professional at $197 per month (full automations, 5 users, reputation management), Agency at $297 per month (unlimited users, full features, white-label support). Name the plans something relevant to your brand — not "Starter, Pro, Agency" but something niche-specific like "Local," "Growth," and "Scale."
Step 3: Configure What Each Plan Includes
For each plan, specify which GoHighLevel features are available. GoHighLevel lets you toggle features on or off per plan: number of sub-accounts allowed, AI features, funnel building, membership sites, and more. Limiting features by plan creates clear upgrade motivation. The Professional plan might include AI features that the Starter plan does not — creating a natural reason to upgrade.
Step 4: Set Up Rebilling for Usage Costs
GoHighLevel charges wholesale rates for SMS, email, phone calls, and AI usage. In SaaS Rebilling, set a markup percentage on these costs — typically 10 to 20 percent — which GoHighLevel charges to your clients' Stripe payment methods automatically. This creates a small margin on every message and call without requiring manual invoicing.
Pricing Strategy for Maximum Profit
The most profitable SaaS Mode setups position the platform not as a CRM tool but as a "client acquisition system" or "revenue automation platform." Clients paying $297 for "software" are price-sensitive. Clients paying $297 for a "system that books appointments and collects reviews automatically" are buying outcomes. Price the outcome. At 20 clients paying $197 per month, SaaS Mode generates $3,940 per month in recurring revenue against a $497 platform cost.
